8.1.1 Making an object following a path

Besides making the camera follow an object for animation, we can also

use a curve path to help with complex trajectories. If you try to move

objects in animation using lots of curves and turns, using a curve object

might improve any motion.

Using a curve object in Blender, we can make any 3D model use that

curve as a path. You can create curve objects using the SHIFT+A keys

and go to the Curve group (Figure 8.2).

From the curve object list, you will see two types of objects:

Bezier: A curve that will feature points control handlers.

Circle: A curve that also has points and control handlers, but

already in a circle shape.
